Question: Is an external transition Management Team really
effective?
Answer: It is. At The Zeika Group, we don't just believe it; we have the experience
to know it. The most well run organizations in the world know it. Many large, admired
companies have established internal integration teams for their acquisitions and
joint ventures to provide leadership during fragile periods of acquisition integration
or periods of great change. These teams acquire highly specialized knowledge and
experience. The Zeika Group leaders have this kind of experience and provide an objective
external point of view.
Question: How will The Zeika Group work with our managers?
Answer: Our approach is always one of building a strong team and using the
best resources that already exist in the company. Often we will lead the team and
develop the other members to be strong and self-sufficient so that our departure
from the organization is seamless. We will also ensure that the proper leadership
is in place and operating effectively with support from the organization being led.
Question: How much time does The Zeika Group need to do it's job?
Answer: That, of course, depends on the situation. Full integrations take
time and can range anywhere from one to three years. The size of the organization,
degree of integration desired, and overall health of the organization are large determining
factors.
Question: With so many poor integrations being done, is it really possible
to achieve good results with a high degree of probability.
Answer: Yes. Many integrations are difficult, however, the key to a successful
one is that the fundamental reasons for doing it are still valid and that the people
of the organization believe in their mission and themselves. Nothing can withstand
good fundamentals and a relentless will to succeed. |
